I'm a huge proponent of maximizing your coins as a bougie black woman on a budget. As in many things, research can save you a lot of time and money and selfcare is no different.

Here are 5 quick tips for leveling up your selfcare on a budget:

  1. Youtube is your friend when it comes to getting your exercize and saving money on gym memberships. There are a number of great workout videos and channels to suit every fitness level, so pick one.
  2. Take advantage of employee assistance programs if your employer provides these benefits. If not, check your local area for free wellness community services, etc.
  3. Download a mindfulness app (many have a free version)
  4. Set aside a min of 15 mins per day, for journaling or meditation.
  5. Get more intentional about what foods you are puting into your body; start meal prepping and cooking meals that are nutrionaly dense.
